A therapist in Mumbai,
minus the commute.
I’m a Mumbai-based psychologist and psychotherapist working fully online. Which means you get a local therapist who understands this city’s particular flavour of exhaustion, without adding a rickshaw-train-walk triathlon to your week.
Therapy that fits a Mumbai life
This city runs on ambition and adrenaline: the 9:14 fast local, the startup sprint, the “we’ll sleep after Diwali” work culture. Many of my Mumbai clients are professionals in their 20s and 30s doing impressively while quietly running on empty: minds that keep working long after the laptop closes, weekends that feel like recovery wards, and a vague guilt about resting in a city that never does.
Online sessions mean your 50 minutes stay 50 minutes, from your flat in Andheri, an empty cabin in BKC, or your parked car in Powai. Evening and weekend slots exist precisely because Mumbai calendars are what they are.
What I help with
- Overthinking & intellectualisation: the 2 AM replay department
- Anxiety, stress & burnout: for the high performers running on fumes
- Trauma: the archived experiences your body still remembers
Sessions are ₹1,500 for 50 minutes; the 15-minute intro call is free. Full details on the Services & fees page.
Mumbai questions
How much does therapy cost in Mumbai?
Fees in the city vary hugely. Mine are published openly: ₹1,500 per 50-minute session, intro call free. No surprises.
Is online as good as meeting in person?
For the concerns I work with, research consistently says yes. And honestly, arriving to therapy having just battled Western Express Highway is not a neutral starting state. Your own room works in your favour.
